9A. Arts Master Plan status-Arts AdministratorMurphy
Arts Administrator Murphysharedthatthere are plans to submit a budget request for FY24-25to hire a
consultantforthe Arts Master Plan.
9B. Cultural Arts Division Report Arts Administrator Murphy
Arts Administrator Murphy reportedonthesuccess of the Dias de Los Muertos celebrationeventat
the Encinitas Libraryon October 27, as the eventexpanded its programmingand increased
participation. She informedthe commissioners that the new season ofthe Music bythe Sea Concert
series began onFriday, November 3,with a spectacular performanceby a piano soloist.The concert
series isheld onselectFridays at 7:30pm atthe EncinitasLibrary. Concert and ticketinformation is
available on the city website:www.encinitasca.gov/concerts.She sharedthat thenew installationsof
art exhibitions will be displayed at Art Night on November 18. Regarding the commissions requested
agenda item for the theater pad,Arts Administrator Murphyinformed the commission that information
is still being gathered and will be presented on a future agenda.

FY24-25.
