Public comment was submittedby PatriciaFrischerrelated to item 11 on theCommission for the Arts
Annual Work Plan
Chair Hebert led discussion of the Arts Annual Work Plan with contributionsfrom Arts Administrator
Murphy.
1.Discuss and provide updates onthe FY23-24 Work Plan.
2.Assign commissionerstoad hoc committees as needed.
8B. Pacific View Art Center.
Arts Administrator Murphy provided an update to Commissioners regarding the Pacific View Art Center.
9.INFORMATIONAL ITEMS
9A. Cultural Arts Division Report – Arts AdministratorMurphy
Arts Administrator Murphy shared that staff is revising the contractinstructor applications. She also
shared that Dia de los Muertos Library programming will be enhanced this year and will be held on
October 27, 2023. Preparations for Nutcrackerhave begun and it is tentatively scheduled to be held in
the gymnasium at the Community and Senior Center in December.
