1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Ca. Ballow called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Chair Ca. Ballow, Vice-Chair Co. Ballow and Commissioners Charles
(arrived at 4:34 p.m.), Gonzalez, Kelley, Kessler, Leschensky, Ryan, and
Su.
Also Present: Recreation Services Manager Hamer, Recreation Supervisor Anderson,
and Management Analyst Fisher.

John Franklin spoke regarding various issues in Encinitas.
Joanna Gorman spoke regarding upcoming October events at the Encinitas Library.

No changes to the posted agenda. Analyst Fisher noted that page 2 of the minutes had
a typo that will be corrected.

Manager Hamer began her report by informing commissioners of Movie Night at Glen

She also requested Commissioner feedback regarding Pacific View by spreading
awareness of a resident survey on future programming. Lastly, Manager Hamer updated
