8A. Community Grant Program Evaluation Panel
Commissioner Lees volunteered to serveon the Evaluation Panel. There being no other
Commissioners interested in serving on the panel, Commissioner Lees was appointed to serve on the
Evaluation Panelfor the Community Grant Program.
8B. Commission for the Arts Annual Work Plan
1.Chair Corrales-Schmitt led commissionersthrough the workplan and commissioners shared
progress updates and outcomes for each itemfor the FY 22/23Work Plan.

9A. CulturalArts DivisionReport–ArtsAdministrator Murphy
Arts Administrator Murphy shared that the Street LightBanners are managed by the Admin Division.
Upon its completion,the Street Light Banner Use Policy may be sharedwith the Commission if so
desired. She shared that the Pacific View Color PaletteFocusGroup met on February 1. Renovations
for Pacific View are expected to be completed by Summer 2024. Programming is expected to be
availablelate summer/early fall 2024.The AEP6 Survey deadline has been extended to May 31, 2023.
The tentative concert lineup for theMoonlight Beach Concert series has been determined. The dates
for theTramontoMusic Festival are July 31 –August 5.

Commissioner Valenzuela shared the Encinitas Friends of the Arts is taking a step back and
reprioritizing their goalsand vision going forward.

Pacific View ArtCenter standing agenda item
Chair Corrales-Schmitt presented on Commissioner Fox’s behalf and requested that staff provide
monthlyupdates on the Pacific View Arts Center.

There was consensusamongthe Commissioners that they wouldlike Pacific View ArtCenter updates
as a standing agenda item.
