4A. PROJECT NAME: West B Street Sewer Main Improvement; CASE NUMBER:
CDP-004916-2021; FILING DATE: October 12, 2021; APPLICANT: City of
Encinitas; LOCATION: Adjacent to APN 258-053-07 within West B Street public
right-of-way, between Third Street and Fourth Street; PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Public hearing to consider a request for a Coastal Development Permit for sewer
main improvements within the West B Street public right-of-way to upgrade an
eight -inch line to 12-inches and connect to a new manhole, and connect the new
manhole to an existing manhole with a new eight -inch line. ZONING/OVERLAY:
The project site is located within the Ecological Resource/Open Space/Park
(ER/OS/PK) Zone and the Coastal Commission Appeal Jurisdiction of the Coastal
Zone.; ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: The project has been determined to be
exempt from environmental review pursuant to Section 15303, which exempts the
construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures.
The project meets the criteria for the exemption.
