1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Pacheco called the meeting to order at 4:33 P.M.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioners Pacheco, Gonzalez, Leschensky, Ruppert and Su. There is one
vacancy
Also Present: Recreation Services Manager Stayton, Recreation Supervisor Anderson,
and Management Analyst Fisher.
Absent: Commissioners G. Colombo, C. Colombo, and Junus.

4A. BCK Environmental Instructors, Jamie Gonzalez and Barbara Larson
Representatives from San Dieguito Academy High School and Oak Crest Middle
School presented on current initiatives within their schools to reduce waste and
encourage sustainable practices. The speakers shared mission goals,
recommendations, and plans for future efforts to achieve objectives at local schools
and events.

Manager Stayton provided department updates starting with the progress of the summer

movie night at Glen Park and an Art Night. Lastly, the report highlighted the success of
