Tip Drive, Tahoe City, CA 96145), and Valenzuela. There are two vacancies.

(THERE ARE TWO VACANCIES).

8A. Review the FY 2021/22 Commission for the Arts Work Plan.
Recommended Action:Reviewthe FY 2021/22 Commission Work Plan andvote as needed.
Arts AdministratorMurphy provided updates on the FY 2021/22Commission Work Plan.
Commissioners held discussion regarding the desire to have more input regarding RFQs and RFPs as
related to public art projects.
CommissionAction:
Commissioner Redlitz moved, Corrales-Schmitt seconded to 1) have thePublicArtAd Hoc Committee
receive,review,and approve the El Portal Undercrossing RFQ prior to being made availableto the
public, 2) for the RFQ to include similar format and structureto the Encinitas Blvd Undercrossingand
the Santa Fe Undercrossing RFP, and 3) for the RFQto includea similarnumeric ranking and rating
systemsimilar tothe EncinitasBlvdUndercrossing.
Motioncarried. Ayes: Abraham, Corrales-Schmitt, Lees, Redlitz, Valenzuela. Nays: None. Absent:
None.Vacancies: Two.
Commissioner Redlitz moved, Abraham seconded tohave theRFP for the sculpture pads be presented
to the Public Art Ad Hoc Committeefor review and approval prior to being made availableto the public.
Motioncarried. Ayes: Abraham, Corrales-Schmitt, Lees, Redlitz, Valenzuela. Nays: None. Absent:
None.Vacancies: Two.
