Commissioner Simsshared that Encinitas Dia de los Muertoswasheldon Saturday,October 30,
2021. TheVintage Flea Market will be held at Pacific View on December 11, 2021.The Nutcracker will
be held at the Encinitas Community and Senior Center on December 18, 2021. The Member’s
Appreciation Reception will be held at the Encinitas Library onDecember 2, 2021.

ArtsProgram Assistant Murphyintroduced Tracy Staytonas thenewRecreation Services
Manager. Manager Stayton addressed the Commission and spoke regarding her professional
background and provided Department updates.Program Assistant Murphy shared that Brigid
Parsons will be coming back on a part time basisto assist with art installations. The mosaics on
the sidewalks along Coast Highway 101 will be undergoing renovationsbeginning mid-
Novemberthrough December2021. The video from Dia de losMuertos will be uploaded on the
City’s You Tube channel for viewing.
