Due to the COVID-19 pandemic,Commissioners were in attendance via video conference.

8A. Review the approved2020/21 Commission for the Arts Work Plan and Draft FY 2021/22
Commission for the Arts Work Plan. Contact Person: Arts Program Administrator Gilliam.
Recommended Action:Reviewthe FY 2020/21 andFY 2021/22 Commission Work Plan andvote as
needed.
Director Campbell addressedthe Commissioners regardingtheDraft FY 2021/22 Work Plan’sArts
Venue Goal regarding theLot 16 theaterpadand provided anupdate regarding the exclusive
negotiating agreement with North Coast Repertory.Director Campbell suggested that the Commission
may want to postpone having this goal on their workplan until the lease negotiations have been
finalizedso the Commission mayhave a deliverable outcome. Director Campbell also providedan
update regarding Pacific View.
Administrator Gilliam reviewed theDraftFY 2021/22 Commission for the Arts Work Planwith the
Commissioners. He informed the Commission that Principal Planner Roy Sap’au is reviewing the Draft
Arts Master Plan.

Staff liaison Gilliam shared that in accordance with theanticipated June 15 th reopening of the Stateof
California, the Cultural ArtsDivisionprograms will be resumingpendingCity Council’sapprovalof the
budget.
