Administrator Gilliam reviewed the 2020/21 Commission for the Arts Work Plan and the 2021/22 Draft
Commission for the Arts Work Planwith the Commissioners.

COMMISSIONER ABRAHAM MOVED APPROVAL OF THE 2021/22 COMMISSION FOR THE ARTS
WORK PLAN. SECOND BY COMMISSIONER SEELERT,AND THE MOTION CARRIED7-0.
8B. Pacific View Letter of Recommendation to the City Council. Contact Person: Chair Abraham
Recommended Action:Review the letter of recommendation and vote as needed.
Chair Abraham presented thereport to the Commissioners.

CommissionerSims asked Arts Program Administrator Gilliamto give the report. Program
Administrator Gilliamshared thatEncinitas Friends of the Arts is continuing to plan new programsand
they have begun aninitiative to have children sign thank you cards to first responders.
9B. CulturalArts Division Report. Contact Person: ArtsProgram Administrator Gilliam
Staff liaison Gilliam gave an update on the Santa Fe Undercrossingwebsite and shared anew logo for
the Wednesdays@Noon concertseries.

CommissionerCorrales-Schmitt requested a future agenda item be added regarding a letterof
recommendationto the City Council forpublic programming at theLot 16 theater parcelby North Coast
Repertory Theater, with a consensusprovidedby Commissioner Sims.After some discussion among
Commissioners, Commissioner Corrales-Schmitt tabled the request.
