9. INFORMATIONAL ITEMS
9A. DEPARTMENT UPDATES MANAGER KARLEN
Manager Karlen reported that staff are working on programming for next season,
and if Commissioners have suggestions for potential programs or qualified
instructors to recommend, to please notify him. Manager Karlen indicated that
construction on the Standard Specific Park site is tentatively s
January, and tentatively scheduled to be completed in the summerreported
that the Parks and Recreation Commission reviewed suggested names for the
park, which were collected through an online survey, and the name selection
process will be based on the Citys naming standards. He indicated that the
Parks and Recreation Commission will be providing their recommendation for the
name to the City Council for consideration.
