NOTICE OF COMPLETION
Pursuant to the contract agreement for the "30-Inch Transmission Main Abandonment and
Recycled Water Fire Protection System, Project CW16D" between the San Dieguito Water
District, an Irrigation District of the State of California and Hunter General Engineering,
Incorporated dated August 30, 2016, which included the completion of the following work:
1. Abandonment of a 30-inch low pressure transmission main from Cambridge Avenue to
the San Elijo Water Reclamation Facility (SEWRF) located at 2695 Manchester
Avenue, Cardiff, CA 92007.
2. Removal of a 30-inch transmission main located at 2315 Cambridge Avenue, Cardiff
CA 92007.
3. Installation of recycled water main at SEWRF, 170 LF of 12-inch PVC and 275 LF of
8-inch PVC, two new fire hydrants and a new fire sprinkler service line, valves, and
cathodic protection.
Said Agreement, including the plans and specifications for said improvements, is on file in the
Office of the Clerk of the Board of Directors.
Whereas, San Dieguito Water District, an Irrigation District of the State of California located at
160 Calle Magdalena, Encinitas, CA 92024 entered into an agreement as "Owner" in fee; and
Whereas, Hunter General Engineering, Incorporated located at 1454 Pine Ridge Road,
Oceanside, CA 92056 entered into an agreement as "Contractor" to construction improvements
for the San Dieguito Water District;
The Faithful Performance and a Labor and Materials Bond are covered in Bond No. 759318P by
Indemnity Company of California in the amount of$323,700 and will remain in full force at this
time and shall be released at the end of the one-year warranty period.
All requirements of said Agreement have hereby been satisfied except for warranty.
Said improvements were completed and accepted by the San Dieguito Water District Board of
Directors on the 17th day of May, 2017.
The San Dieguito Water District Board of Directors on the 17t day of May, 2017 authorized the
General Manager to record the "Notice of Completion."
Neither acceptance of said improvements by the Board of Directors nor this Notice constitute a
waiver of any defects in the work of the construction or installation of said improvements.
