NOTICE OF COMPLETION
Pursuant to the contract agreement for the "Balour Reservoir Rehabilitation, Project CW 17H"
between the San Dieguito Water District, an Irrigation District of the State of California and DN
Tanks, Incorporated dated December 6, 2016, which included the completion of the following
work:
1. Rehabilitation work on Balour Reservoir which included removal and repair of
caulking, repair of concrete patches, and the replacement of a 16-inch and 8-inch
butterfly valves. The reservoir is located at 1190 Oakcrest Park Drive in the City of
Encinitas,California.
Said Agreement, including the plans and specifications for said improvements, is on file in the
Office of the Clerk of the Board of Directors.
Whereas, San Dieguito Water District, an Irrigation District of the State of California located at
160 Calle Magdalena, Encinitas, CA 92024 entered into an agreement as "Owner" in fee; and
Whereas, DN Tanks, Incorporated located at 351 Cypress Lane, El Cajon, CA 92020 entered into
an agreement as "Contractor" to construction improvements for the San Dieguito Water District;
The Faithful Performance and a Labor and Materials Bond are covered in Bond No. 92964541 by
Western Surety Company in the amount of$199,970 and will remain in full force at this time and
shall be released at the end of the one-year warranty period.
All requirements of said Agreement have hereby been satisfied except for warranty.
Said improvements were completed and accepted by the San Dieguito Water District Board of
Directors on the 17th day of May, 2017.
The San Dieguito Water District Board of Directors on the 17th day of May, 2017 authorized the
General Manager to record the "Notice of Completion."
Neither acceptance of said improvements by the Board of Directors nor this Notice constitute a
waiver of any defects in the work of the construction or installation of said improvements.
