NDE WHEREAS, the California Highway Commission on

July 24, 1957, adopted a resolution declaring a certain
section of State highway, road ll -SD -5 (former XI- SD -2 -A),
to be a freeways and I
WHEREAS, by freeway agreement dated September 28,
1961, between the County of San Diego and the State of Calif-
ornia, the County agreed to accept control and maintenance
of frontage roads, relocated and reconstructed county roads
and a cul -de -sac and to accept title thereto upon relin-
quishment thereof to said County by the State of California;
and
WHEREAS, the State of California has acquired right
of way for and has constructed said roads in the County of
San Diego between Via de la Valle and San Marcos Road,
road ll -SD -5, in connection with said freeways and
WHEREAS, this Commission has found and determined,
and does hereby find and determine, that it is desirable and
in the public interest that said roads be:11:relinquished to
the County of San Diego for use as county highways;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS VOTED by the California
Highway Commission that it relinquish, and it does hereby
relinquish to the County of San Diego, effective upon the
recordation of a certified copy hereof with the Recorder of
San Diego County, all of the State of California's right,
title and interest in and to said roads in said county,
together with the right of way and appurtenances thereof,
described as follows:
All those frontage roads and relocated and recon#* j'1.
structed County roads, designated• °.as Parcels 1 through 14
on Maps filed for record as State Highway Map No. 42,
sheets 1 to 16, inclusive, on August 23, 1965, as Document
No. 152919 in the office of the Recorder of San Diego County.
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING to the State of California
any and all rights of ingress to or egress from the highway
hereby relinquished in and to the adjacent and /or adjoining
freeway except at such points as now are or may be estab-
lished by resolution of 4t,*14s Commission.
