8A.SeniorCitizen Commission Annual Work Plan review and Goal Setting
Commissioner Quinn reviewed the work plan outcomes.
Goal 2-Commissioners Powell and Lennox reported on the Vital Aging Conference.
Goal 3-Commissioner Lennox requested Commissioners provide topics of interest.
Goal 5-Commissioner Quinn reported the Commission wouldcontinue to work with the Rotary
and expand outreach
Goal 6-Commissioner Powell reported the Ad-Hoc committee met in July and are waiting on
Council’s decision on communication firm(s).
Goal 7-Commissioner Powell reported the Ad-Hoc committee has identified goals and
objectives and is working on creating a senior survey. Commissioner Lennox statedthe need
to have instruments in place to determine, deliver and demonstrate senior needs.
