6.WELCOME / INTENDED WORKSHOP OUTCOMES
Parksand Recreation Director Campbell welcomed Commissioners, introduced staff,
and gave an overview of the Youth Commission.
7.ICE BREAKER ACTIVITY QUESTIONS
Commissioners introduced themselves and spoke about their interest in being Youth
Commissioners.
8.CIVIC ENGAGEMENT VIDEO
Staff Liaison Rundle presented a Civic Engagement video.
9.BROWN ACT / YOUTH COMMISSION EXPECTATIONS
Council Member BoernerHorvath discussed the Brown Act and how it applies to the
Youth Commissioners. Boerner Horvath reviewed proposed changes to the Youth
Commission attendance policy,work plan, and membership size. Boerner Horvath
encouraged commissioners to advise Staff Liaison Rundle of their individual areas of
interest.

Staff Liaison Rundle led a team building exercise.
