Mr.,Rathyen moved the adoption of the following resolution, the
same being seconded by Mr. Cole.
"BE IT RESOLVED, that this corporation pay to The First
,National Bank of San Diego the sum of Eight Hundred eighty five and
ifs°127/100, as half the principal sum and all the interest to date on a i
certain promissory note of date June 6, 1916, and signed by 'Cardiff
Irrigation District', and that this corporation further cause to be
r eze out ed and delivered to The First National Bank of San Diego its
r romisabry note in the sum of Eighty three hundred eighty one 17/100
I ollara as one note in renewal of its indebtedness to said bank as
videnced by two promissory notes of date June 6th, 1916, for $3500.00
each, with all interest due thereon, and one-half the principal sum of
Said note to be of even date
, the rat note hereinabove mentioned.
f herewith, due one year after date bearing interest at the rate of six
per cent. per annum, and carrying the usual clauses as to attorney's
fees, default, et cetera.
"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Secretary of
this corporation be, and the3 are hereby, authorized to execute proper
vouchers or warrants to said The First National Bank of 'San Diego in
payment of the sum aforesaid and further to execute and deliver to said
The First National Bank of San Diego the promissory note or notes afore-
said, attaching the seal of this corporation thereunto.
