BERS, under the terms and condition as hereinabove set forth, be
and the same is hereby confirmed and we hereby authorize, empower,
and instruct the said Claude L. Chambers to ha ,e complete control
and charge over all litigation now pending or which may hereafter
be brought which tends to attack in any way the validity of the
organization of the District ; and we hereby authorize, empower and
instruct the said Claude L. Chambers as the attorney for the District
to prepare any and all documents necessarily incident to completion 6
of his said employment. It being understood that all documents
prepared by him are to be approved by the firm of 0'KT.VENY, MILLIKEN
& TULLER, Attorneys at law, of the City of Los Angeles , California;
and
BE IT FURTHrR RESOLVED that should the said Claude L.
Chambers be called upon to Rrnish advice or work of any kind foreign
to his employment as hereinbefore set forth that it shall be at the
request of this Board and IDEM constitute separate employment.
Passed and adopted by the Board of Directors of the Cardiff
Irrigation District at a regular, adjourned meeting thereof this
kOth day of December, 1919, by the followinf; vote, to-wit:
