Wherefore, the Board of Directors of the Cardiff Irrigation
District found it necessary to borrow money to carry on the general
business of said District for the current year, and
WH.7REFORE, the officers of the Union National Bank of San
Diego are willing to make a loan at this time to the amount of
Two Thousand Dollars ($ 2,000.00) , same to be secured by note or
notes of the District signed by the proper officers, now
V THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED that a note or notes be drawn by
said District in favor of said Bank in the amount not to exceed the
sun of $ 2,000.00.
The above Resolution was presented by Director J. Frank Cullen,
seconded by Director J. L. Kinney.

WHEREFORE, owing to the large amount of work necessary
to compile the description of prorerty, names of owners and
addresses, it is believed essential to the interest of the
District that an assistant to help the Assessor to prepare
said lists, descriptions and names, be employed at a cost
of 1125.00 now,
Therefore, be it resolved that an assistant be employed
°or said purpose at a cost not to exceed .41^5.00.
