OF THE CARDIFF IRRIGATION DISTRICT, HELD AT TIE OFFICE OF TEE DIS-
trict, IN TMF FLATIRON BUILDING IN THE TOTN OF CARDIFF, COUNTY OF
SAN DIE00, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ON TUESDAY, lPth DAY OF NOVr7MVR,
1918, AT TT0 O'CLOCK P.H.
Present: Director J.Frank Cullen,
Director E. E. Young,
Director J. L. Kinney,
Secretary J. L. Hinney.
The President, J. Frank Cullen, called the meeting to order. The
minutes of the previous meeting of Nov.6th. , 1918, were read and
approved as read.
There Ras present a number of persons who were interested in
the matter of the change of the boundaries of the district. Oral
arguments were presented to the Poard both pro anal con. Engineer
Huber, assistant to the State Engineer was present to answer ques-
tions pertaining to the enlarged District.
Written objections to the granting of the petition praying for
a ckange of the .boundaries of the District signed by Mrs. A. E.
Vail was presented to the Board, read, and ordered filed.
Written objections to the granting of the petitior_ prayirg
for a ekange of the boundaries of the District signed by J. F.
Gifford was presented to the Board, read and ordered filed.
Tkis being the day and hour set for the hearing of the Peti-
tion of Hargarett L. Allen and various other persons praying for
a okange of boundaries of the Cardiff Irrigation District, and the
hearing of tke objections to the said petition on file, the Board
proceeded to consider the same, and thereupon Director E. E. Young
moved that the further hearing of the said petition and of the said
objections be continued until Saturday, November 1Rtk. , 1919, at the
hour of 11:50 A.H. at the usual meeting place of the Board, which
said motion was seconded by Director J. L. Minney and was by the
Board unanimously adopted.
v There being no other business a notion was made, seconded and
