CONTINUING THE HEARING ON THE HATTER OF THE PETITION
PRAYINC FOR THE CHANGE OF BOUNDAaIES
OF THE CARDIFF IRRIGATION DISTRICT.

Whereas, heretofore on October 14th, 1918, a petition
ras filed with this Board of Directors, signed by Margaret L.
Allen and a number of other persons, praying for a change of the
boundaries of the Cardiff Irrigation District so as to include
certain lands belonZing to the said petitioners and in the said
petition specifically described; and
WHEREnS, thereupon the Secretaty of this Board caused notice
of the filing of said retition to be given and published in the man
ner and for th e time prescribed by lar, inviting all persons inter- ?
ested in, or that night be affected by the proposed change o° boun-
daries of the District, to appear at the office of the Board at the
regular meeting of the Board next after the expiration of the time
for publication of said notice , tc-sit, November Pth, 1918, at tro
o ' clock p.m. ; and
tMERFAS, because of the fact that said tine of meeting is
a legal holiday of the State of California, it is leered advisable
that the hearing of said petition be adjourned until November Fth,
1919;

NOW, VEER°.FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Direct-rs of
the Cardiff i-rQ0 ion District that the hearing of said retition
and all objections thereto be, and it hereby is adjourned to
