The president called the meeting to order. The minutes of the preview
meeting of August 9thr1918 were read and approved as read.

The Delinquent Tax List was presented to the Board and ordered
filed.
The Secretary reported to the Board of Equalization, held on Aug-
ust, 50. 1918. which met to Equalize assessments as required by
the statute, to wit: Sec.Se of Act 1728 of the General Laws of
the State of California, See.159 of said Act requiring that within
15 days after the closing of its session as a Board of Fquali?ation,
levy an assessrent sufri^,lent to pay in full all suns clue or that

shall become due upon the Distrvt before the time for levying the
next annual assessment. The Board proceeded to discuss the levy.
he President stated that it would require the amount of one and
three fourths cents an each dollar of appraised valuation, after
deducting 15!� from the whole anount assessed. The total assessed
valuation of the District arounts to 6416,44Q.00. After deducting
150 the assessed valuation arounts to

TMEnErORE, be, it and it hereby is resolved that the tax levy of
the Cardiff Irri�:atinn District I— the fiscal year 1919-1919
shall be the sum of one and three-fourths ( 1 7/4 ) cents on each
dollar of assessed valuation after deducting 1`"I.
