REGULAR MEETING MINUTES

RANCH TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 23,2016, at 4:30 p.m.
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Vice Chair Jacob called the meeting to order at 4:30 P.M.
Directors Present:' Vice Chair Cindy Jacob, Directors Karen P. Brust (City Manager), Glenn
Pruim (Director of Public Works)
Absent: Chair Richard Houk, Lisa Rudloff(Director of Parks and Recreation)
Also Present: John McNair, Erik Johnson, Kent Graff, JC Resorts; Chris Calkins, Carltas;
Tim Nash (Finance Director), Kathy Hollywood (Board Secretary), City of
Encinitas; Dick Stern, Encinitas Ranch HOA
There being a quorum present,the meeting was in order.
ORAL COMMUNICATION
There were no oral communications.
AGENDIZED BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Approval of the minutes of the December 15, 2015 Special Meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the minutes.
ACTION:
Pruim moved, Brust seconded to approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried.
Ayes: Brust,Jacob, Pruim. Nays: None. Absent: Houk and Rudloff. Abstain: None.
2. Review of ERGA Financial Summary of Revenues, Expenditures, and Capital Reserves for
December 2015. Contact Person: JC Resorts,Erik Johnson
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive the report.
Mr. Johnson reviewed the financial summaries and the Capital Reserves for December
2015.
3.- Consideration of canceling the following 2016 Regular ERGA Board meetings: March 22
due to the Mayor's State of the City Address, July 26 for annual summer recess, and
November 22 and December 27 due to the holidays. Contact Person: City Clerk Hollywood

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Cancel the March 22, July 26, November 22 and
December 27 meetings and determine if the meetings should be rescheduled.
ACTION:
Pruim moved, Jacob seconded to approve canceling the March 22, July 26, November
22 and December 27 regular meetings and the scheduling of a special meeting on
December 13, 2016 at 4:30 p.m. Motion carried. Ayes: Brust, Jacob, Pruim. Nays:
None. Absent: Houk and Rudloff. Abstain: None.
4. Report on incidents and accidents. Contact Person: JC Resorts, Erik Johnson
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive the oral report.
Mr. Johnson stated there were no incidents or accidents to report.
REPORTS FROM DIRECTORS AND/OR MANAGER REPORTS
Mr. McNair announced that the Encinitas Rotary Foundation's Annual Wine and Food Festival
would be held at the golf course in June.
Mr. Johnson reported that Carlos Arango would be joining Encinitas Ranch as the new Food &
Beverage Manager.
