Erosion control measures (e.g, bonded fiber matrix, vegetative

be implemented where applicable to prevent soil erosion on site. Sediment control
measures (e.g. silt fencing, fiber rolls, detention basins) must
be in place to prevent
eroded soil from leaving site. Materials management BMP must
also be followed to

to water quality
degradation downstream (e.g. concrete or stucco washout areas,

Post- Construction Best Management Practices (BMP) Note
No directly connected impervious areas (DCIA) shall be allowed.
DCIA means storm

c. Fuels, oils, solvents, and other toxic materials must be stored in accordance
with their listing and are not to contaminate the soil and surface waters.
All approved storage containers are to be protected from the weather into

e. Trash and construction related solid wastes must be deposited into a
covered receptacle to prevent contamination of rainwater and dispersal
by wind.
f. Sediments and other materials may not be tracked from the site by vehicle
traffic. The construction entrance roadways must be stabilized so as to
inhibit sediments from being deposited into the public way. Accidental
depositions must be swept up immediately and may not be washed down by rain
or other means.
g. Any slopes with disturbed soils or denuded of vegetation must be stabilized
so as to inhibit erosion by wind and water.
18. After sewer and utility trenches are backfilled and compacted, the surfaces over
such trenches shall be mounted slightly to prevent channeling of water in the
trench area. Care should be exercised to provide for cross flows at frequent
intervals where trenches are not on the centerline of a crown street.
