1. CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chair Forrest called the meeting to order at 4:37 PM

Present: Chair Barth (4:41 pm), Vice Chair Forrest, Commissioners Galloway, Muir,
Simmons, N. Barth, N. Conger, Waldvogel (5:15 pm), Kanzler, Wimsatt, Lawson (4:57

Also Present: Recreation Superintendent Gorham, Recreation Supervisor Buck and
Management Analyst Roff

8. ACTION ITEMS
8A. Encinitas Youth of the Year Award Nominations for 2014
Commissioners received presentations from Nancy Gordon, Bill Sparks, Ronette
Youmans, Scotland Muir, and Mo Muir. Commissioners scored the nominees,
and nominee Shovik Sarkar, receiving 88 points, was nominated the 2014 Youth
of the Year.
