2015-01-27 ENCINITAS RANCH GOLF AUTHORITY REGULAR MEETING MINUTES • Encinitas Ranch Golf Course Clubhouse, E P1C 1.N[TAS 1275 Quail Gardens Drive, Encinitas, CA RANCH TUESDAY,JANUARY 27,2015, at 4:30 p.m. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL Chair Houk called the meeting to order at 4:30 P.M. Directors Present: Chair Richard Houk, Directors Glenn Pruim (Public Works Director), Lisa Rudloff (Director of Parks and Recreation) and Larry Watt (Interim City Manager). Absent: Vice Chair Cindy Jacob. Also Present: Erik Johnson, John McNair, Kent Graff, JC Resorts; Tim Nash, Nancy Sullivan, and Claudia Bingham (Deputy Board Secretary), City of Encinitas; Dick Stern, Encinitas Ranch HOA. There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order. ORAL COMMUNICATION • Mr. Stern requested that the Encinitas Ranch Golf Course website photos be updated. Mr. Johnson stated that that they were in the process of updating the website. AGENDIZED BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Approval of Minutes of the 12-16-2014 Special Meeting. Contact Person: Board Secretary Hollywood RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the minutes. ACTION: Pruim moved, Rudloff seconded to approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried. Ayes: Houk,Pruim, Rudloff. Nays: None. Absent: Jacob. Abstain: Watt. i 2. Review of ERGA Financial Summary of Revenues, Expenditures, and Capital Reserves for November and December 2014. Contact Person: JC Resorts, Erik Johnson RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive the report. Mr. Johnson and Mr. McNair reviewed the financial summaries and the Capital Reserves for • November and December 2014. 3. Report on incidents and accidents. Contact Person: JC Resorts, Erik Johnson RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive the oral report. Mr. Johnson reviewed two (2) incidents involving vehicles hit by a golf ball. REPORTS FROM DIRECTORS AND/OR MANAGER REPORTS Mr. Johnson stated that they had received the stucco bids and the work would begin next week. Mr. Pruim stated that a proposed leaf blower ban was being presented by the Encinitas Environmental Commission to the City Council within the next few months. Mr. Graff stated that they would be moving forward with an irrigation cycle starting next week. ADJOURNED Chair Houk adjourned the meeting at 5:20 P.M.
