CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Chair L. Barth called the meeting to order at 4:34 PM.

ADOPT THE FEBRUARY 6 AGENDA. MOTION CARRIED 11-0.
APPROVAL OF THE NOVEMBER 7, 2012 REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
ACTION
COMMISSIONER A. BARTH MOTIONED AND COMMISSIONER FORREST
SECONDED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE NOVEMBER 7, 2012 MEETING.
MOTION CARRIED 11-0.
PRESENTATIONS
Presentation on the Sister City Program and Hosting Opportunities.
Senior Analyst Stauffer provided background on the Sister City Committee and
introduced the 2012 Encinitas student delegates. Delegates Cassidy Mayeda, Jill
Baylon and Isaac Trotta shared their experiences and encourage the Youth
Commissioners to participate by hosting 2013 Amakusa student delegates.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Nancy Perry-Sheridan with San Dieguito Alliance for Drug Free Youth addressed the
Commission regarding the Homeless Teen Backpack Project.

activities.

Vice-Chair Ferreirae motioned for adjournment, Commissioner Lawson seconded, the
meeting adjourned at 6:57 pm.
