COMMISSIONER MASKIEWICZ MOTIONED AND COMMISSIONER FORREST SECONDED
TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE MARCH 6, 2013 MEETING. MOTION CARRIED 11-0.
PRESENTATIONS
Presentation of Proposed Activities for the 2013 Sister City Student Exchange
Mike Stauffer, Senior Management Analyst, with the Parks and Recreation Department presented
a draft student exchange itinerary, requested suggestions and invited the Youth Commissioners to
participate in the student exchange activities.

SECTION 2: ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS
1. 2012/13 Youth Commission Work Plan
Recreation Superintendent Gorham presented an overview of the City of El Cajon Teen
Coalition’s Youth of the Year Award program.

COMMISSIONER N. CONGER MOTIONED TO CREATE THE YOUTH OF THE YEAR AWARD
SUBCOMMITTEE IN THE 2013/2014 TERM, COMMISSIONER M. CONGER SECONDED AND
THE MOTION CARRIED, 11-0.
