Chair Harp called the meeting to order at 2:02 p.m.
Present: Chair Harp, Vice-Chair Vance, Commissioners Drielsma, King, Ortley,
Saxena and Simon
Absent: None
Also Present: Parks and Recreation Director Rudloff, Recreation Superintendent
Gorham, Senior Center Manager Goodsell, Management Analyst Roff
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.

COMMISSIONER KING MOTIONED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE
FEBRUARY 19, 2013 MEETING MINUTES, VICE-CHAIR VANCE SECONDED THE
MOTION AND THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0 (COMMISSIONERS DRIELSMA AND
SAXENA ABSTAINED.)

COMMISSIONER SIMON MOTIONED TO APPROVE THE 2013/2014 WORK PLAN
COMMISSIONER DRIELSMA SECONDED AND THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0.
2. Grant Evaluation Panel
Commissioner Drielsma volunteered to serve on the Grant Evaluation Panel.

TO THE GRANT EVALUATION PANEL, COMMISSIONER VANCE SECONDED

Commissioners Corner
Commissioner Drielsma reported the Out and About Transportation program in
Encinitas is much better than the senior transportation programs in surrounding cities.
Chair Harp announced NCTD will provide a presentation on March 20 at 10:30 a.m. at
the Encinitas Senior Center and the State of the City Event will be on April 5.
