and incidents thereto for a public highway upon, over and across that certain real property in the County of San Diego,
State of California, described as:
Parcel 73-1178-A (10-17-73) ( cQ )
Those portions of Sanford Street and Hygeia Avenue, adjacent Northerly and Easterly,
respectively, to Block 26 of North Leucadia, according to Map thereof No. 524 as
said street and avenue were vacated and closed to public use on November 19, 1915,
by an order of the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego, all being in the
County of San Diego, State of California, described as follows':
Beginning at the intersection of the Easterly prolongation of the Southerly li.ne of
Lot I in said Block 26 With the Easterly line of the Westerly 10.00 feet of said t
Hygeia Avenue; thence Northerly along said Easterly line North 15 042'58" West a
-distance of 136.70 feet to the beginning of a tangent 20.00 foot radius curve concave
Southwesterly, said curve also being ,tangent to the Northerly line of the-Southerly
10.00 feet of said Sanford Street; thence Northwesterly along the arc of said curve
through a central angle of 90 000 '28 a distance of 31.42 feet; thence tangent
to said curve, Westerly along said Northerly line of the Southerly 10.00 feet of
Sanford Street, South 74°17'30" West a distance of 289.82 feet to the Northerly prolongation
of the Westerly line of said Lot 1 in Block 26; thence Northerly along said prolongation
North 15°45'24" West a distance of 10.00 feet to the Northerly-line of the Southerly
20.00 feet of said Sanford Street; thence Easterly along said Northerly line North
74°17'30" East a distance of 319.82 feet town intersection with the Easterly line of
the 'Westerly 20.00 feet of said Hygeia Avenue; thence Southerly along said Easterly
line South 15 042'58" East a distance of 166.70 feet to an intersection with said
Easterly prolongation of the Southerly line of Lot 1 in Block 26 distant thereon
North 74 015105" East 10.00 feet from the point of beginning; thence. Westerly along
said prolongation South 74015'05" West a distance of 10.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.

The Grantor hereby further grants to the County of San Diego the privilege and right to extend drainage structures and
excavation and embankment slopes beyond the limits of the herein described right of way where required for the con-
struction and maintenance of said County Highway.RESERVING unto grantor of the above described parcel of land,
his successors or assigns,'the right to eliminate such slopes and/or drainage structures or portions thereof, when in the
written opinion of the County and/or District Engineer of Grantee, the necessity therefor is removed by substituting
other protection, support and/or drainage facility, provided such substitution is first approved in writing by said
Engineer(s).
The Grantor hereby further grants to Grantee all trees, growths (growing or that may hereafter grow), and road

f building materials within said right of way, including the right to take water,together with the right to use the same
in such manner and at such locations as said Grantee may deem proper, needful or necessary, in the construction,
reconstruction, improvement or maintenance of said highway.
The Grantor, for himself,his successors and assigns,hereby waives any claim for any and all damages to Grantor's
remaining property contiguous to the right of way hereby conveyed by reason of the location, construction, landscap-
ing or maintenance of said highway.
