LATERALS PER NOTE 4 ON THE SEWER LATERAL CONNECTION NOTES, CONTRACTOR MAY USE
SADDLE CONNECTION PER FOLLOWING: i

a. PROVIDE A GPK PRODUCTS INC. OR EQUAL, SADDLE W17H EPDM RUBBER GASKET
SUITABLE FOR MOUNTING TO THE 10" OUTSIDE DIAMETER OF THE 8" VCP PIPE.
b. TRACE THE INSIDE GASKET DIA. AT A POSITION 45 DEG ABOVE HORIZONTAL W/WYE
ORIENTED TO DISCHARGE IN SAME DIRECTION AS FLOW
c. CORE VCP PIPE TO MATCH THE SADDLE.
d. STRAP THE GASKET & PVC SADDLE TO THE VCP WITH TWO 1 12-IN. WIDE TYPE 316 SS
