resolution is adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego , State
of California :
WHEREAS , on November 9 , 1965 , the Board adopted a resolution declaring its
intention to vacate and abandon the following described county highway in the County
of San Diego , State of California :
All right , title and interest in and to a right of entry in Lot 16
of Colony Olivenhain according to Map thereof No . 326 , filed in the
Office of the Recorder of the County of San Diego , described in a
permit to the County of San Diego recorded November 2 , 1932 as
Document No . 52103 in Book 175 Page 44 of Official Records in said
Office of the County Recorder ,
and
WHEREAS , the matter came on for hearing before the Board of Supervisors of
San Diego County , California , this 14th day of December , 1965 , at 11 : 00 a .m . ; and
evidence is on file that due and proper notice of said hearing has been given as
required by law ; and
WHEREAS , it appears further that no written protests or objections to said
proposed vacation have been filed , and no oral protests or objections have been
made ; and
WHEREAS , the Planning Commission , in its report filed in the office of the
Clerk of the Board of Supervisors on November 3 , 1965 (Document No . 366356) ,
recommended that said highway be vacated and abandoned ; NOW THEREFORE
The Board of Supervisors hereby finds that due and proper notice of the hearing
on the resolution of intention to vacate said highway has been given as required by
law , and that said highway hereinafter described is unnecessary for present or
prospective public use .
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the hearing be and it is hereby closed ,

VACATE AND ABANDON EASEMENT

et seq . , Government Code )
ON MOTION of Supervisor Boney , seconded by Supervisor Dent , the
following resolution is adopted :
WHEREAS , Fred C . Sproul , Jr . , and Alberta H . Sproul have requested
the vacation of the hereinafter described easement (Document No . 362472 ) ;
and
WHEREAS , after investigation the County Planning Department has
approved and recommended the proposed vacation (Document No . 366356 ) ; and
WHEREAS , it appears to this Board that the easement recommended for
vacation by said Department is not needed for present or prospective use
by the public ; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego
that it is the intention of this Board to vacate and abandon the following
described easement :

This is in reference to your letter of July 21 , 1965 , concerning the
request of Fred C . and Alberta H . Sproul that the County vacate the sub .
ject named street and easement .
At its regular meeting of September 24, 1965 , the Planning Commission
considered this matter and recommended approval of the requested vacation
of the pipeline easement and recommended the vacation of all of 4th Street
easterly of a line that is 100 feet east of and parallel to the center-
line of "G" Street as said street is shown on Map 326 .
Reasons for this recommendation include the following :
A. The pipeline easement is not presently in use by the County and
the future need for this easement is not anticipated .
Be The portion of 4th Street recommended for vacation is not used as
a traveled way and due to the location of Escondido Creek within
the vacated portion, its future use as a street is unlikely.
C . The vacation of this portion of 4th Street will not deprive any
property of access .
A legal description of the vacations recommended by the Planning Commis -
sion is attached .

ON MOTION of Supervisor Cozens , seconded by Supervisor Austin , the following
resolution is adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego , State
of California :
WHEREAS , on November 9 , 1965 , the Board adopted a resolution declaring its
intention to vacate and abandon the following described county highway in the County
of San Diego , State of California :
All right , title and interest in and to a right of entry in Lot 16
of Colony Olivenhain according to Map thereof No . 326 , filed in the
Office of the Recorder of the County of San Diego , described in a
permit to the County of San Diego recorded November 2 , 1932 as
Document No . 52103 in Book 175 Page 44 of Official Records in said
Office of the County Recorder ,
and
WHEREAS , the matter came on for hearing before the Board of Supervisors of
San Diego County , California , this 14th day of December , 1965 , at 11 : 00 a .m . ; and
evidence is on file that due and proper notice of said hearing has been given as
required by law ; and
WHEREAS , it appears further that no written protests or objections to said
proposed vacation have been filed , and no oral protests or objections have been
made ; and
WHEREAS , the Planning Commission , in its report filed in the office of the
Clerk of the Board of Supervisors on November 3 , 1965 (Document No . 366356) ,
recommended that said highway be vacated and abandoned ; NOW THEREFORE
The Board of Supervisors hereby finds that due and proper notice of the hearing
on the resolution of intention to vacate said highway has been given as required by
law , and that said highway hereinafter described is unnecessary for present or
ros
P ective ublic use .
