day of September , 19441 there being present Supervisors David Pl . Bird,
Chairman Presiding , John P . Faddis and Dean E . Howell ; Supervisors
Vs'alter Bellon and Dan Rossi being absent .
At 10 : 18 a . m . , prior to adoption of the following resolution ,
Supervisor Rossi arrived and took his place on the Board .

of Hermes Avenue , Juno Avenue , Europa Street
and the Alley in Block 42 of Leucadia , all
According to Map No . 570 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
ON MOTION of Supervisor Ho�r.ell , seconded by Supervisor Faddis ,
the follocaing resolution is adopted by the Board of Supervisors :
WHEREAS , the Board of Supervisors on July 17 , 1944, referred to
the Planning Commission the petition of Maurice Le Storm and Gladys H .
Storm for the vacation of portions of Hermes Avenue , Juno Avenue ,
Europa Street and the alley in Block 42 of Leucadia , all according to
Map thereof No . 570 , records of San Diego County ; and
17HEREAS , the County Planning Commission, in its report filed in
the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors on July 27 , 1944
(Document No . 36495) recommended that said portions of Hermes Avenue ,
Juno Avenue , Europa Street and the alley in Block 42 of Leucadia be
vacated and abandoned as requested in the petition ; and
11.1HEREAS , the Board of Supervisors pursuant to the recommendation
of the Planning Commission, on August 7 , 1944 adopted a resolution
declaring its intention to vacate and abandons
Hermes Avenue from the South line of Fulvia
Street Southerly to the North line of
Europa Street
Juno Avenue from the South line of Fulvia
Street to the North line of Europa Street
Europa Street from the west line of Juno

Avenue to the East line of Hermes Avenue ; also
the alley in Block 42 of Leucadia , all accord-
ing to map thereof 1#570 , records of San Diego
County
and set the matter for hearing at 11 : 45 a . m . this date ; and
WHEREAS , the matter came on for hearing before the Board of
Supervisors of San Diego County , California , this 11th day of
September , 1944 , and it appears from the affidavits of publication
and posting on file in said proceedings that due and proper notice of
the time and place fixed for the hearing on said resolution of inten-
tion to vacate and abandon said portions of said avenues , street and
alley has been given as required by law ; and
WHEREAS , it appears , further , that no -Y�•ritten protests or ob -
jections to said proposed vacation have been filed , and no oral pro-
tests or objections have been made ;
NOW, THEREFORE , the Board of Supervisors hereby finds that due
and proper notice of the hearing on ' the resolution of intention to
vacate said portions of said avenues , street and alley has been given
as required by law ; and
That said portions of Hermes Avenue , Juno Avenue , Europa Street
and alley in Block 42 of Leucadia as hereinafter more particularly
described are unnecessary for present or prospective public use .
IT IS THEREFORE , RESOLVED AND ORDERED that those certain portions
of avenues , street and alley described as :
Hermes Avenue from the South line of Fulvia
Street Southerly to the North line of Europa
Street
Juno Avenue from the South line of Fulvia
Street to the North line of Europa Street
Europa Street from the tsest line of Juno
Avenue to the East line of Hermes Avenuel
