Permit 1365-I authorized the construction of public improvements, all needed to build the
described project. The Field Operations Division has accepted the improvements and
approved the one-year warranty inspection. Therefore, a full release of the security
deposit is merited.
Performance Bond SU 5005790, (in the original amount of$66,378.00), reduced by
75% to $16,594.50, is hereby released in entirety. The document original is enclosed.

It was a pleasure to meet you last Friday and review your concerns on the street
improvements on Sheridan Road. The purpose of the meeting was to examine the
possibility of encroachments on your land. We agreed the existing DG (decomposed
granite)pathway was encroaching between 1.5 to 2.0 feet on your land. Andrew Kann,
the engineer of work, was called before our meeting and he mentioned if encroachments
existed and you choose to have them removed they would make arrangements to have
them removed. You also mentioned you would prefer the DG pathway to remain as
constructed. This would provide base material if you were to construct a barrier of some
type (curb) on your property.
According to the legal description of your land as described in Quitclaim Deed dated
February 22, 1982 recorded as document 82-046823 your property line is 20 feet east of
the centerline of Sheridan Avenue and also lies southeasterly of a 25 radius curve at the
corner of Sheridan Road and La Costa Ave.
It was not determined if the curb ramp was encroaching. The improvement plans for
Sheridan Road show it is not encroaching. The ramp was constructed to accommodate
drainage and pedestrian access in the future.
Enclosed is a copy of the City handout referring to fences and walls standards at property
lilies. I hope this information is helpful.
