SEWER NOTES
"All work shall be done in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Public
Works Construction, latest Edition, the San Diego Standard Special provisions to
the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, adopted by the San
Diego Regional Standards Committee and the following Special Provisions." —x_„

1. Trench width shall be per SDRSD No. 5-4.1 unless otherwise noted.
2. Pipe and Bedding Conditions.
(a) All pipe shall have 4" minimum of 3/4 inch crushed rock beneath the pipe. n
(b) V.C.P. and A.B,S, truss pipe bedding from bottom of pipe to six (6)' inches C� -
minimum above the pipe shall be sand, gravel, crushed aggregate, native �(�yA'
free- draining granular material having a sand equivalent of 30 or better. '1P''�t r��9
(c) P.V.C. and`A.B.S. solid wall pipe bedding from bottom of pipe to six (6)
inches minimum above the pipe shall be 3/4 inch crushed rock. A.B.S. solid
wall pipe may be used only where pipe invert grades are 1% or greater. ll
3. After completion of pipe laying, all main line sewers, sewer service laterals \� -
and structures shall be tested in the presence of the Engineer. Air Pressure qa ,
