Re Vacation and Abandonment of

Pursuant to Petition of San Dieguito• )

ON MOTION of Supervisor Cozens, seconded by Supervisor Gibson, the following
resolution is adopted:
WfDMAS, on September 10, 1968, the Board adopted a resolution declaring its
Intention to vacate and abandon the following described county highway in the Countyi
of San Diego, State of California:

That portion of Dublin Drive lying easterly of Cambridge Avenue, in Cardiff;

and
SEAS, the matter came on for hearing before the Board of Supervisors of San Diego ?�
County, California, this 21st day of October, 1968, at 11:00 a.m.; and evidence is on file
that dale and proper notice of said hearing has been given as required by law; and a
WWREAS, there is on file a written protest by the San Diego Gas &Electric Company,
Board of Supervisors' Do=ent No. 395056; and a subsequent written protest by said
Company, Board of Supervisors' Document No. 397851, indicating that a certain easement
concerning Dublin Drive has been negotiated, but that said Company has been unable to
secure a certain easement concerning Cambridge Avenue; and
WHEREAS, it appears that no further written protests or objections to said proposed !
vacation have been filed, and no oral protests or objections have been made; and
GkMAS, the Planning Commission, in its report filed in the office of the Clerk
of the Board of Supervisors on August 29, 1968 (Document No. 405125), recommended approval
of the San Dieguito Irrigation District's request for vacation and abandonment of that
portion of Dublin Drive lying easterly of Cambridge Avenue, and denial of its request
for vacation and abandonment of a portion of Cambridge Avenue southerly of Dublin Drive;
NOS► TEEREFORE
The Board of Supervisors hereby finds that due and proper notice of the hearing on
the resolution of intention to vacate said highway has been given as required by law, and
that said highway hereinafter described is unnecessary for present or prospective public
use. }
IT IS TRBREFORE RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the hearing be and it is hereby closed,
and that that certain county highway hereinafter described be and it is hereby vacated g
and abandoned:
That portion of Dublin Drive as shown on Map No. 1298 of Cardiff
.filed in the Office of the Recorder of the County of San Diego lying
between Block 12 and Block A of said Map No. 1298 and lying northeasterly
} of southeasterly prolongation of the soutIniesterly line of said Block 12.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDffi2Is'D that that certain request for vacation and
abandonment of a portion of Cambridge Avenue southerly of Dublin Drive, in Cardiff, be
and it is hereby denied.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego, State of
California., this 21st day of October, 1968, by the following vote:
