SAN-_DIEGUITO__IRRIGATION DISTRICT hereinafter called the "Grantor," for and in consideration of the sum of
One Dollar, and other valuable consideration, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant to the San Diego Gas
& Electric Company, a corporation, its successors and assigns, hereinafter called the "Grantee," the right, easement and
privilege of placing, erecting, constructing, repairing, replacing, maintaining and using, a line of poles with wires suspended
thereon and all necessary and proper guys, anchorage, crossarms, braces and other fixtures for use in connection therewith, at
such locations and elevations upon, along and over the hereinafter described right of way as Grantee may now or hereafter
deem convenient and necessary from time to time, for the transmission and distribution of electricity for all purposes for which
it may be used, together with the right of ingress thereto and egress therefrom, to and along said line, over and across the
Grantor's land situate in the County of.-------__--------------------_San---Diego--------------------------- , State of California, and more particularly
described as follows:
Those portions of DeWitt Avenue, being Lots 14, 26 and 27 in Sam;F. Smith's
Subdivision of East Block 9, Encinitas, according to Map thereof No. 38,
filed in the office of the Recorder of said County of San Diego.
The XONC MOMId right of way in the aforesaid lands is particularly described as follows:
Within the Westerly 15.00 feet of said Lots 14, 26 and 27.
ALSO: Within the Northerly 6.00 feet of said Lot 26.
ALSO: Within the Southerly 6.00 feet of said Lot 27.

It is also understood and agreed by the parties hereto that the Grantee may place, erect and maintain, on the lands of the
Grantor adjacent to the above described right of way such anchorage as may be necessary to properly guy the power pole
line erected over said right of way.
Grantor and....... _4!.--.....successors in estate shall not erect or construct, or permit to be erected or constructed, any build-
ing or other structure, plant any tree or trees, or drill any well or wells, within the limits of said right of way.
The Grantee is also hereby granted the right to trim any trees along or adjacent to said line of poles and wires whenever
considered by it necessary for the proper operation and use of the rights hereby granted.

This is in reference to the County of San Diego Planning Department's
request to vacate that portion of DeWitt Avenue in Encinitas on Lots 14,.26
and 27 of Map 38 as shown on the enclosed map.
Enclosed are four copies of this Company's Sketch Misc. 1482 showing
thereon in red the existing electric power pole line facilities within a
portion of referenced street proposed to be vacated. Said facilities are
maintained and operated by San Diego Gas & Electric Company.
Because of these facilities, San Diego Gas & Electric Company has
protested to the County of San Diego, the proposed closing of DeWitt
Avenue until our existing electric facilities have been covered by an
acceptable easement from your Irrigation District.
Attached are the original and duplicate of the form of Indenture
satisfactory to our Company covering the existing electric facilities in
the above described property. If satisfactory, would you please have the
original and duplicate copies of this agreement executed by authorized
officials of your Irrigation District and return it to me at your earliest
convenience. Upon receipt of the executed easements, San Diego Gas &
Electric Company will immediately withdraw its protest to the closing.
