THIS INDENTURE WITHESSETH, that PALOU_R-E;S: HEIGHTS CDTPAN~ a
California Corporation, of the County of Los Angeles, State of California,
for and in consideration of One ($1.00) Dollar and other valuable consider-
ation, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does by these presents
convey unto the SAN DIEGUITO IRRIGATION DISTRICT, of said County of San
Diego, its successors and assigns forever, an easement for right of way
over and upon the lands hereinafter described, for the construction, use
and maintenance thereon of pipe lines and the supports and appurtenances
thereof, convenient and necessary for the purpose and uses of said Irri-
gation District, together with the rights of ingress and egress over the
adjacent lands of the grantors herein, to the various points of said
rights of way necessary for the work of construction, maintenance and
repair of said pipe lines, supports and appurtenances. The said rights
of ingress and egress to be exercised with the least possible detriment
and inconvenience to the lands so used, and any damage to growing crops
caused thereby to be compensated for by said District.
Said pipe lines wherever possible, shall be plaodd under ground
and covered by the natural soil to a depth which will not interfere with
the cultivation of the land through which they extend, provided that where
it is necessary to the proper gradient and construction of said pipe lines,
they may be carried over arroyas and depressions- in said right of way above
ground and upon trestles and other supports.
The premises over which this conveyance extends are more parti-
cularly described as follows:
Lots 6 and 7, Block A, Palomares Heights, according
to map thereof No, 2].14, filed in the office of the
Record`er_; of San Diego County, California, and the
right-.of-way is a strip, of land 10 feet in width ex-
tending 5 feet on each said of a center line described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the North line of Lot 8, Block
A of said subdivision, which point is 3.15 feet East
of the Northwest corner of said Lot 8, thence North
514o5o, 42.6'1 West a distance of 826.6 feet more or less
to an intersection with the Westerly boundary of said
B1ock.A, which point of intersection is-8.75 feet North
of the Southwest corner of Lot 6 of said Block A.
