PHIS INDENTURE WITZT that Berman GViegand, of the County
of San Diego, State. of California, for and in consideration of 2XX
Three hundred ($300.00) Dollars' and other valuable considerations,.
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged'; does by these presents
convey unto the SAN DIEGUITO IRRIGATION DISTRICT,. of said County,its
successors and assigns forever, an easement for right of way over
and upon the lands hereinafter described, for the construction,.use
and maintenance thereon of oi2e lines and the supports and appurtenances
thereof, convenient and necessary for the purposes and uses of said
Irrigation.District, together with the rights of ingress and egress
over the adjacent lands to the grantors herein, to the various.points
of said right of way necessary for the work of construction, mainte-
nance and repair of said pipe lines, supports and maintenances. The
said rights of ingress and egress to be exercised with the least p
possible detriment and inconvenience to the lands so used, and any
damage to growing crops caused thereby to.be compensated for by said
District.
Said pipe lines shall wherever possible, be placed under
ground and covered by. the natural soil to a depth will not
interfere with the cultivation of the'land through which they extend,
- provided that where it'is necessary to the proper gradient and con -`
struction of said pipe lines, they may be carried over ar.royas and
depressions in said right.of way above ground and upon trestles and
other supports.
The premises over which this conveyance extends are more
particularly described as follows:
" South one -half (S-k)-of the North one -half (Nz) of Fractional.
Section 25, `i'ownship Thirteen (13) South, Range Four (4) West, S.B.B -M.
and the location of the center line of the said Pipe.Line begins at
a point on said above described premises on the Nlesterly boundary line
of Rancho Santa 1 'e 'as sand Rancho is shown on Subdivision hap thereof
No.. 1742, sheets Nos. 49 and 50 on file in the office of the Recorder
of Sari' Diego County, California, whence corner No • five (.5) of said
Rancha bears North 2 48" West 3816.62 feet and whence the intersection
