THIS INDENTURE WITS 7SSSETH, that Ed Fletcher,

of the County of San Diego, State of California, for and in
consideration of One Dollar (y )1.00) and other valuable considera-
tion, the receis ,)t of which is hereby acknowledged, does by these
presd.nts convey unto the SAN iDIEGUITO IRRIGATION DISTRICT, of
said County, its successors and assigns forever, an eZeLsement for
right of way over and upon the lands hereinafter described, for
the construction, use and maintenance thereon of pi lines and
the supports and appurtenances thereof, convenient and necessary
for the purposes and uses of said Irrigation District, together
with the rights of ingress and egress over the adjacent lands
to the grantors herein, to the various points of said rights of
way necessary for the work of construction, maintenance and re-
pair of said pi lines, supports and ap.1)urtenances. The said
rights of ingres-s and egress to be exercised with the ler.st pos-
sible detriment and inconvenience to the lands so used, and any
damage to groving crops cc.used thereby to be compensc.ted for by
sa id Dis trict.
Said pipe lines wherever possible, shall be , ?laced
under ground and covered by the natural soil to a depth which
will not interfere with the cultivation of the land through which
they extend, _provided that where it is necessary to the proper
gradient and construction of said pipe lines, they may be carried
over arroyas and depressions in said right of way above ground and
upon trestles and other sumpor is .
The premises over which this conveyance oxtends are more
particularly described as follovs:-

The. contem_olated location of the center line of the
said pipe line is more particularly shown upon the attached plat,
and the right of Fray over said premises is a strip of land fifteen
(15) feet in width, along a course or courses to be selected

by said San Dieguito Irrigation :district, provided that such
course shall be laid so as to avoid interference with any fixtures
or permanent improvements on sid premises at the time of such
selection.
