MEETING MINUTES
MEETING DATE: September 2, 2009
4:30 P.M.
1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Present: Chairperson Novack, Commissioners Ferreirae, Ogden, Lawson,
Marow, Jolly, Conger, Barth, Templin, Kelly, Haller (4:40 p.m.).
Also
Present: Recreation Supervisor Rubenstein and Administrative Coordinator
Dakovich.
Chairperson Novack suggested that each Commission member introduce
themselves and note their grade and school.

None.
4. CLOSING AND ADOPTION OF THE CONSENT CALENDAR
A. Approval of Minutes for Meeting of June 3, 2009.
COMMISSIONER MAROW MOVED, COMMISSIONER OGDEN SECONDED
TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE JUNE 3, 2009 MEETING. MOTION
CARRIED 6-0.
5. NEW BUSINESS
A. Park and Beach Tour.
Chairperson Novack reviewed the staff report , introduced Park Supervisor
Smith, who conducted the tour and directed Commission members to the
vehicle.
The tour included stops at Moonlight Beach (tennis courts, along creek,
Moonlight parcels information, helicopter pad, Lifeguard tower, playground, etc.),
Leo Mullen Sports Park, Sun Vista Park, and Indian Head Canyon.

Meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
