SUBJECT: Acceptance of sewer easements as rledicated on the final map of TM 89-229 into
the Cardiff Sanitation Distnct and authorize the Clerk of the Board to sign the
final map and a covenant to secure the sewer improvements. Subject property is
located South of Santa Fe Drive between Rubenstein A venue and Starlight Drive.

BACKGROUND:
On August 26, 1999. the City of E:1c:nitas Planning Commission approved Tentative Map No.
89-229, a tentative map of a subdivisi051 creating 26 single family residential lots on 16 acres of
land.
To serve this project the subdivider has offered to dedicate a public sewer main and easements to
the Cardiff Sanitation District. See Exhibi~ 'A' for the vicinity map. Also, see the attached final
map and Exhibit 'B' showing the easement locations. The sewer main will be constmcted to
district standards.
ANAL YSIS~
An casement has been granted to the Cardiff Sanitation District on the final map for construction,
maintenance. and repair uf sewer structures. A covenant has been executed by the subdivider to
ensure the proposed sewer improvements are Cl'nst.ructed, installed and inspected in conformance
with district standards for public sewer mains.
RECOMMENDA TION:

11 is n:commenued that the Board ,;1' Directors accepts the sewer easement into the Cardiff
Sanitation District and authorizes the Clerk of the Board to sign the tinal map and to sign the
