BACKGROUND: Mr. Tony Cassolato is requPsting annexatioa of .42 acres to the Cardiff
Sanitation Disuict. , The property is a portion (one !at) of a four-lot subdivision, that was
approved as TPM/CDP/EIA 00-058 by the Community Development Uepartment on Septemt+cr
• 21, 2000. The future structure on this {ot will connect to the existing sewer main in Camino EI
Dorado. Annexat.ion of the property to the Cardiff Sanitation District is a condition of appruval
for TPM/CDP/ElA 00-058.
- On December 13, 2000, the Card•,ff Sanitation District Board reviewed the propanent's requcst
and adopted CSD Resolution No. 2000-19, approving ay anncxation application to the D;-qrict.
The proposal was subsequently reviewed and approved by the Local Agcncy Formatiors
Commissian on March 12, 2001.
AAIALYSIS: The proposed annexation is in conforrtzance with the C:vdiff Sanitation District
Board's poiic}' for annexations of sinele-famiiy residences on legal-size lots, confarms with the
curreni zoning, and is within the District's sFhere uf influence.
FISCAL AND STAFF IMPACf'S: The annexatiun wili generate S700 in processing fce
revenues and 53417/EDU in capacity fee revenues to the District.
RECtJMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends that thc Boazd of Uirectars adapt Resolution No.
2001-09, approving annexation to the Cardiff Sanitation District of 0.42 Acres I.a:ated at 525
Camino EI Dorado - Tony Cassolato Annexa:ion (Assessor's Yarcel No. 253-140-78).

Califomia, be and it hereby is annexed to and made a part of the Cardiff Sanitation Disuict.

copy of ihis resalution along with a remittance to cover the fees recuifed by the Govemmcnt
Code Section 54902.5 to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Cnmmissian of
San Diego County, so that the Executive Offieer may make the filings required by Chapter 8
(commencing with Section 57200), Part 5, Division 1, Tide 6 cf the Govennnzent Code aad by
Chapter. S(commencing with Section 54900), Part I, Divisiori 2, Tide 5 of the Govemment
Code.
