committee Chairpersons The chairpersons of each sub-committee then gave a brief status report.

She is working with NCTD on this. She expects to have a pretty decent turnout of people,
which should provide a good opportunity to draw in additional visitors from other cities.
• Arlene Betti and Carolyn Cope are working on the El Camino Real Banner Program.
Since many cities have banners, they are looking into the possibility of having "mission-
style" bells instead.

completion of the Inventory of all the Community Conference Rooms.
• Julian Duval reported on the progress of the Visitors Center Referral Service and
Enhancement of the Visitors Center. Sherry Smoot also displayed items that are now
available for purchase at the Visitors Center such as T-shirts and mugs. It was noted that
the logo does not say "visitors center" rather it says "City of Encinitas."

and Demand Survey/Study.
• Chuck Ades reported on the status of the upcoming Flower Tour. Everyone involved is
very excited about this year's event. Many of the individuals that helped last year are
working once again at this year's event. They hope to have many of the "bugs" that were
experienced last year worked out. The tour will take place on June 1 and June 2.
