Approve Minutes of May 7, 1998 meeting.
ITEM #2 Ciiy Manager Wasserman gave an overview of parking problems in downtown area.
Status of Acquisition of Parking in Downtown. Options being considered by City include permit system, and cooperative effort with
NCTD to provide ample parking for: downtown employees and patrons. Use of
Moonlight Beach parking lot may also be an option.
ITEM 43 Most complainfs related to traffic control and street closures. Sheriffs Dept. will be

Hwy. 101 may not be necessary to accommodate the event. Event may be scheduled
earlier. Next year's event may be moved to a Suuday. All issues to be addressed.
