Approve Minutes of January 22, 1998 meeting. ~
ITEM 42 Mayor provided information re past accomplishments of Business/Flower Growers
Purpose of Business Liaison. Liaison group. Discussion occurred concerning role of group. Consensus to retain
title.
ITEM 43 Baskets hung between D and F Streets. Remainder of downtown to be eq uiPPed with
Status Report on Hanging Baskets. baskets. DEMA asked to handle maintenance with City reimbursement. Totai of 40
baskets to be-maintained and dressed.
ITEM #4 DEMA planning to pay for banners if Street Faire revenues,meet expectations.
Status Report on Banner Program. Larger banners may be more suitable for telephone poles. Many brackets need to be
replaced. Cox Cable to place and remove banners.
ITEM #5 No Report. Bring back in May.
