3. Freeway Beautification Program
Need cooperative agreement and master plan to gain Caltrans approval. Caltrans -
representative may be at meeting next month. City pays for design, installation and
maintenance of all landscaping.
4. Discussion on the Development of a City Brochure.
City Manager stated that the four brasiness groups need to wor.<k together to develop
structure of a br.ochure. Staff will be contacting each group to schedule a joint
meeting.
5. Discussion of a Proposed City-wide Sidewalk Sale
12eport from Russell Griffith re concept being discussed. Propose scheduling same
weelc as Enciuilas Days. CIiamUer to take the lead in planning/coordinating. City- -
wide Newsletter may be used to publieize event. Could .add info insert to waterbill.
6. "'Flowers, Family and Fun" Proposal
Recap of proposal by Dennis Holz. City can participate but other organizations need
to participate. Need to develop implementation plan/schedule. Flower growers will
work with City to implement.
