ONS M CALENDAR: Items on each Consent Calendar are matters which are either routine, se_f-
eaplanatory or have been discussed at previous meetings. It is anticipated they will not be discussed
separately. With a motion "to adopt the Consent Calendar" the City Council approves all Consent
Calendar Staff recommendations, as shown on the agenda. These items are grouped together to allow
time for other items on the regular agenda. However,items may be removed from the Consent Calendar
for discussion either by a"request to speak"form from the public,banded to the City Clerk,or a request
by a CounciliBoard Member. Items removed by a member of the public will be taken up immediately
following adoption of the Consent Calendar. Items removed by a Council/Board Member will be taken
up at the end of the regular agenda.

If you wish to speak to an item &q on the posted agenda, but within the City's subject matter
jurisdiction,please submit a white speaker slip to the City Clerk to soak during Oral Communications.
The law precludes the CouncibBoard from taking action upon such non-agenda items. These items will
be referred to the City/Board Manager. Time donations are not permitted during Ural Communications.
If you wish to speak to an item on the agenda,please fill out a pink speaker slip indicating which agenda
Item #you wish to speak to and hand it to the City Clerk before that item has been announced by the
Chair. (Exception: "Initial Consideration of an Appeal" can only be removed by a Council/Board
