Vulcan Avenue Encinitas, CA 92024 Re: Grading Plan No. 9073-G 1231 Orpheus Avenue, Leucadia January 5, 2005 JN02-001B To Whom It May Concern, On 12/30/05 we surveyed the graded site for the above referenced project and found the grading to be completed in general conformance with the approved grading plan as shown on the attached portion of the grading plan. We took approximately 50 survey shots at various locations on the graded portion of the site that confirmed the following: 1) The grades on the pad portion of the site generally conformed to the proposed contours shown on the plan; 2) The "restored slope" was constructed at a maximum steepness of 1.5 : 1; 3) The drainage dispersion constructed to retain and disperse drainage at the low point of the pad portion of the site was constructed at the location and grades shown on the plan. Refer to the Report of Certification of Compacted Fill Ground prepared by North County Compaction Engineering, Inc dated December 6, 2004 for detailed compaction testing results. It appears as though the reconstructed slope has been planted as recommended in the soils report. Please feel free t II if there an estions regarding the completed grading.
