The applicant, Mr. Reid Tracy, is requesting annexation of 2.50 acres of pc4perty to thc Cardiff'
Sanitation District. The applicant plans to remove the eristing residence and buitd a larger
residence that will exceed the cap3city of the septic system.
Tlie applicant pians to canstruct approximately ?UO linear feet of 8" sewer line to che sewer ctiain
in Fortuna Ranch Road. i he cost of'the improvements wxll be paid entirely by the dppiisant.

WHEREAS, this Board of Directors has received a request from Mr_ Reici Tracy that thc
hereinaf3er described territory be annexed to the Cazdiff Saeitation District (herein,3.fter referred
to as the Sanitation District); and
, WHEREAS, this 3oa•rd of Directors desires to irutiate proceedings to annex .waid tei3itoxy
to the Sanitation District;
BE IT RESOLVED AND QRDERED as follows:
1. Pursuant to Government Code Sections 56800 and 56740, application is hereby inadc to
the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Diego for a propo:sed
change of organization as follows:
A. This proposal is made pursuant to the Co:tese-Knox Local Governrnent
Reorganization Act of 1985 (S. 56000, et. seq., Govt. Code).
B. The nature of the pToposed char.ge of organization and the names of a11 distrirts
for which any such change of organization is proposed are as follows: The
- annexation of the hereinafter descri.bcrd territory tc► the Cardiff Sanitation Aistrict.
C. The names of all other affected counties, cities and districts are: City vf Encinitas.
D. A description of the exterior boundaries of the temtory r. oposed to be a.v7eced tca
the Sanitation Bisirict is described in "Attachment 2" hereto attached.

(2) 'Y'he territory proposed to be "exed to said District is developed and/or
proposed to be developed and used for residential and/or commercial

essential for such purposes.
I. It is hereby requested that procc ngs be taken for the annexation of territory as
herein above proposed.
1. This annexation is consistent with the sphere of influence of the Sanisation
District.
- K. The Board finds that the annexation is categorically exempt fTOrn environmcntal
review in accordans.e with CEQA %'-iass 19, Section 15319(b) and Section
15303(a).
2. The Clerk of LhP ~3oard of I}ire~tors is hereby authorized and directed to file a ceccified
copy af this :esoiu:ion with the Executive Qfficer of the Local A.gency Formation
Commission of the County of San Diego.
